4-Week Early Childhood Session Plan: New Group

Goal: Goals for each intervention are listed within the plan with an assessment focus. Domains include socialization, communication, and cognition.
Description: Each intervention provides opportunities to assess abilities across multiple domains, allows the therapist to get to know the group they are working with, and can be easily adapted for differing skill levels. Interventions are intentionally contoured and use a mixture of singing, instrument play, and movement. Musical structures vary, but songs are simple and come with lyrics, chords, and a recording (where appropriate).
