Our goal is to empower participants to identify their strengths and provide them with valuable resources, while exposing them to the entrepreneurial process.
This presentation will include experiential exercises in the development of a business idea. Participants will work individually and within the group to explore problems and solutions for a mock business or a business concept of their own. They will discover which strategies to implement, questions to ask, and steps to take to ensure success. Research in the fields of music therapy and business will be presented to support historical trends and up-to-date information. The presenters will also share their experiences and expertise in private practice, university clinics, community programming, and online business. Tangible materials will be given to participants to reference if or when they start their own entrepreneurial journey.
