Verbal Processing Skill Building Course
Verbal processing skills are an extremely important asset for working with clients and students of all ages. Being able to successfully facilitate verbal conversation creates a level of understanding, empathy, and safety to support the relationship between teachers, therapists, families, and their clients or students.
This “Skill Builder” Course was developed to assist students and professionals of all disciplines in learning and practicing effective verbal processing skills. The 1-hour pre-recorded course will provide you with functional resources, ready-to-use language, and helpful tips for leading and navigating verbal discussion. The participants will also have the opportunity to connect and build community with other members of the course. Take home resources will be shared.

Effective listening techniques
Techniques for asking questions
Navigating discussion and silence
Group management skills
Navigating difficult conversation
Non-verbal communication
